My name is Lesley Neves and I’m studying to become a sommelier. Living in the Biggest Little City in the World is both a professional challenge and a personal delight, as I draw the spotlight to my hometown of Reno, Nevada in a more intentional way.
I’m a certified wine expert in the process of gathering more knowledge and various other credentials, and I want to share my story as it pertains to my career, to serve as inspiration for others who want to learn more about wine. While Reno has come a long way since I was a child, I’m proud to be a part of its’ continued growth as we start to garner national attention for our culinary endeavors.
Follow me as I share my journey studying for the Court of Master Sommeliers Certified Exam this winter, and showcase some of the amazing wine culture my home has to offer.
